The Atherton Tangent Cobra Series Sterilizer gives you a powerful solution to your sterilization requirements in Day Procedure facilities, operating theatre suites, small Central Sterile Supply Departments and Laboratories.

The Cobra is available in single and pass through configuration for both built-in and cabinet models.

The operator has the choice of Pre Vac or Gravity cycles, as well as Flash cycles when you need to process unwrapped articles fast.

Your choice of cycle is selected from the colour touch screen display. Simply touch an icon on the screen to select the cycle you want. The Tangent Series gives the operator the flexibility to program cycles to suit your particular requirements, and the simplicity to make your job quick and easy. Just follow the on screen prompts to get the cycle you want.

Once entered, cycle settings are held held in memory and protected from alteration by Personal Identification Number (PIN) security.

The Tangent Series looks as exciting as it is to use. A colour toned front panel and coloured side panels sets the Tangent Series apart from the rest, and blends into the modern surgical suite environment.

The chamber door cover and front panel are moulded from a heat resistant thermoplastic alloy, protecting the user from burns when loading or unloading the chamber.

The chamber, jacket and door are fabricated from 316L stainless steel. The door slides down to open, and is counterweighted for smooth, effortless positioning. A sliding stainless steel tray/shelf is mounted inside the 83Lt (400mm dia X 660mm) chamber which can fit a full sized instrument container. A chamber thermocouple probe is fitted as standard. The probe is easily stored on a bracket mounted on the side of the chamber.

The front panel is hinged to allow easy service access from the front of the unit. all components are within easy reach, making service downtime as quick as possible, Built-in castors allow easy movement of the whole unit for positioning and access to service connections.

The Tangent Series can be supplied as a double pass through unit, and can also be fitted with an integral electric steam generator.
